Buzz is led by Tabitha Hamon, who founded the organization after supporting schools as a leader and consultant for over 10 years. Originally certified as a bilingual special education and math teacher in New York City, Tabitha has since worked with school systems of all kinds, from large urban districts to small charter networks, rural school districts, private schools, and even state departments of education. Tabitha has a strongly held conviction that all students can and must meet their potential, and she has dedicated her career to addressing the challenges that prevent kids from growing into the best versions of themselves in our schools. She lives between New York City and Philadelphia, but is usually traveling for either work or pleasure!
